In 1917, CCE of Columbia County and CCE of Greene County were established in their respective counties. Consolidated in 2012, CCE of Columbia and Greene Counties has continued to respond to the needs of local residents with unbiased, research-based information, tools, and education that people have come to depend on and trust. Our programs are developed in direct response to community input, and are based on the most current information available from Cornell and other Land Grant universities from across the nation.

Join CCE for a Fall Family Fun Afternoon in the Siuslaw Model Forest as we fundraise for the Rasmussen Outdoor Classroom (the ROC). Chef Tom Ellis will be cooking up grilled cheese, s'mores, and a savory fall soup over open fire.Enchanting Forest experiences<ul><li>Live open fire pit cooking</li><li>Create natural crowns with 4-H Club Leader Cathi Annese and the Flora &amp; Fauna 4-H Club</li><li>Trick or treating in the forest</li><li>Leave No Trace Scavenger Hunt with prizes</li><li>Costumes encouraged that are safe for a woodland adventure</li></ul>More details to come!
