Joe Caviston, a digital marketing expert, live event promoter, and logistics wizard, directs marketing for Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center and other Venus. He founded Electric City Music Conference and Steamtown Music Awards and is Central Penn College's Director of Communications. His 20-year career began with DIY punk shows. He opened Eleanor Rigby's in Scranton, promoted concerts at Tinks, Sherman Theater, and Croc Rock, booked tours for Sparks the Rescue, Pull the Pin, Thieves and Villains, Drive Side Impact, Endwell, and The Format, and managed I.M. Legend. As one half of a popular touring EMO Night, he sells out venues and launches successful "parties." He consults on digital marketing for various bands, businesses, and startups. He embodies "a jack of all trades is a master of none...but oftentimes better than a master of one."
