The March On Festival is an annual Civil Rights Legacy Project that has traditionally taken place in various locations across Washington, D.C. It offers film screenings, an emerging and student filmmaker competition, various award ceremonies, performances of the arts, exhibits and panel discussions featuring filmmakers, academics, and activists.

This event is a live taping of New York Public Radio’s nationally syndicated podcast, Notes From America With Kai Wright. Host Kai Wright and Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson talk one-on-one about her new memoir, Lovely One, an unflinching account of her life and world, tracing her family’s ascent from segregation to her confirmation on America’s highest court as the first Black justice within the span of one generation. Notes From America With Kai Wright is a show about the unfinished business of our history, and its grip on our future. New episodes air on Sundays at 6:00 p.m. EST on wnycstudios.org and via Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Pocket Casts, TuneIn, iHeartRadio and Amazon Music. Because this is a free event, tickets are first come first serve! Seats are not guaranteed with your ticket. Also, note that no large bags or food/drinks are permitted into the National Archives building during this event.
