Join us for a fun and creative weekly drawing class for young adults with artist William Demaria!

September 11 to October 16, 2024 - Wednesdays - 4:30 to 6:00 P.M.6 weeks of class6 participantsAge: 10+Whether you want to be a traditional oil painter or a digital illustrator, it is very important to have a solid foundation in drawing.This 6-week class will allow students to pursue their own interests in art while also being introduced to fundamental principles of drawing. This class will start with pencil, then explore powdered graphite, and pen. Students will be provided with a mix of drawing exercises to develop their skills and opportunities to develop their own interests.Syllabus:Week 1 Master Copy Bargue Drawing- Introduce Comparative MeasurementBlending with pencils and powdered graphiteWeek 2 Still Life- Drawing from Direct Observation.Week 3 Landscape- Composition, Working from photo. He finds the process of creating artwork itself to be beautiful and has always been interested in studying the way artwork is made. His teaching style is flexible and the pace of his classes adapts to suite individual students needs
