The Photographic Resource Center (PRC) is a vital forum for the exploration, interpretation, and celebration of new work, ideas, and methods in photography. We inspire our members and the broader community with thought-provoking exhibits, educational programs, wide-ranging resources, and unique special events that support the advancement of the photographic arts. Founded in 1976, the PRC is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that the Boston Globe has cited as “one-stop shopping for the photo buff.” The Photographic Resource Center (PRC) will not, in any circumstances, share your personal information with other individuals or organizations without your permission, including public organizations, corporations or individuals, except when applicable by law. We do not sell, communicate or divulge your information to any mailing lists.

ONLINE - - 2024/25 PRC Speaker Series with Dudley M. Brooks

Brooks is the deputy director of Photography for The Washington Post, where he manages the creative strategy and production of photo content for the Features, Local, and Sports departments. Before its discontinuance in December of 2022, he was also the photo editor of The Washington Post Magazine. Immediately prior, he was the director of Photography for the monthly magazine Ebony and senior photo editor for its weekly sister periodical Jet. These publications chronicled the African American experience for nearly eight decades and he was a member of the senior staff responsible for redefining their brand.
