Since 2013, The Palm Springs Women’s Jazz and Blues Association was established to preserve and foster an appreciation of jazz and blues music and to support female jazz and blues musicians who traditionally struggle for recognition and employment. Sunday's event features our "DIVAS OF THE DESERT" – celebrating the music of ANITA BAKER and ROBERTA FLACK.

Doors open at 11:30 AM Show starts at 12:00 PMTHE DIVAS OF THE DESERT ARE CELEBRATING THE MUSIC OF ANITA BAKER AND ROBERTA FLACK. At every Festival the DIVAS pay tribute to all the jazz vocalists around the world who work the clubs every night keeping jazz alive. They work when it rains or shines, when the pay is good or bad and the audience is drunk or sober. They build the audience for the festivals that come to town once a year with the big names on tour. These singers are “our big names” that laid the groundwork for this Festival. We salute their talent and their commitment.
