Seeds of Caring

Children will pack birthday bags and decorate cheer cards for families supported by Columbus Early Learning Centers.

Who this Anywhere Project is for:Ages 4-12. Not sure if this project is the right fit for your kids? Email us with questions at programs@seedsofcaring.org.What you'll be doing:Children will learn about the power of kindness and why it’s important for everyone to get the opportunity to celebrate their birthday through a read aloud and age appropriate discussion. Then helping hands pack birthday bags and decorate a cheer card for families supported by <a href="https://www.columbusearlylearning.org/" title="https://www.columbusearlylearning.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Columbus Early Learning Centers</a>. When you'll be doing it:This Anywhere Project can be done at home, school, or wherever you are!This project is on-going. Families and groups may participate until the project ends on October 2nd. Donations may be dropped to the Seeds of Caring office in Worthington from 7am-7pm September 30-October 2. An address will be provided in your service packet.How it all works:Once you have completed registration, you will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite with a link to your service packet. This packet includes project instructions, guided discussions and more. This project's guided discussion focuses on kindness.Approximate Cost:Approximately $10 per kit including items like cake mix, frosting, and candles (full packing list included in service packet)..Why you'll be invited to donate:Every time we're able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it's with the help of supporters like you.
