Join Unpretentious Palate and guest Brian Lorusso for a virtual happy hour.Lorusso, bartender at Dogwood Southern Table and one of the city's best mixologists, will host a bourbon primer, then share how to make a basic old-fashioned better with ingredients you have at home. He'll also be answering your questions. What we recommend you having on hand: Sugar (or simple syrup with a 1:1 sugar to water ratio), bourbon or rye whiskey, and an orange and bitters if you've got them. If not, no biggie.
