Workshop Description:In this workshop we will work with a partner on care, trust and attention and it is appropriate to have both mental and physical awareness that does not allow distractions.The experience will lead the group in a pure dance, without judgment, where the partner with closed eyes must have full confidence of their body moving in space and the body of the partner "protecting" them and giving new inputs.

Facilitator Background:Monia is a 23-year-old who has been passionate about dance since the age of 4. Growing up in the small Sicilian village of Modica, she discovered her love for dance early on. After completing her studies at a language school, she decided to turn her passion into a profession. In 2019, her journey began with a move to Calabria, where she undertook a 9-month professional training program at Ballet di Calabria. In 2020, she furthered her training by enrolling in a three-year professional course at Opus Ballet.Through her experiences with various teachers and workshops, Monia discovered contact improvisation. After extensive practice and experimentation, she realized her desire to share this love with others. She aims to convey the importance of care, respect, and attention toward others, no matters borders and labels, qualities that are increasingly scarce in today's world.
