Brush Mural Fest is Baltimore’s hyper-local mural festival founded in 2022 by three established Baltimore-based muralists, Jaz Erenberg, Saba Hamidi, and Jess Langley. Created for artists by artists, the festival aims to be one that embodies unity and significance by exclusively showcasing the talents of Baltimore-based artists who possess not only the skills to express themselves artistically but also a deep understanding of and connection to their community. Through this approach, BRUSH hopes to grow into an entity beyond a festival that serves as a platform to support Baltimore's local creatives. No requirements or expectations – if you're interested in taking your designs from a digital space to a wall – show up! Space is limited so be sure to reserve your tickets today.Born in Caracas, Venezuela, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/elisaberayar/" title="https://www.instagram.com/elisaberayar/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Elisa Murillo</a> lived most of her life on the Caribbean Island Isla Margarita. She started painting murals after a friend asked her to do something for his business. A practicing Mural Artist and Illustrator with both indoor and outdoor mural work around the DMV area, Texas and Venezuela, Elisa is passionate about high contrast line work and layer compositions, describing her work as very playful compositions between background and shapes. Always very enthusiastic and passionate about transforming your mood, her works tickle the brains with colors and shapes.
