Duluth-raised, Minneapolis-based indie-folk harpist Nikki Lemire headlines a night of music with Sarah Morris and The Nunnery.

Join us for an unforgettable evening as Duluth-raised, Minneapolis-based, indie-folk harpist <a href="https://nikkilemiremusic.com/" title="https://nikkilemiremusic.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Nikki Lemire</a> performs for the first time as a solo artist in her hometown at 7:30 pm Friday, October 18.Lemire will share an innovative blend of classical, folk, and contemporary sounds, featuring songs from her recently released debut album, Live at Lakewood. An accomplished harpist and vocalist, Lemire has spent the past few years diving into the world of songwriting, emerging with songs that delve into her experiences with love, loss, and motherhood. With her classical mastery of the harp, combined with a modern sense of exploration through loops and electric pedals, Lemire has garnered widespread praise and radio play, solidifying her as a rising star in the indie-folk scene. Joining Lemire on this night are Chippewa Valley-based indie-pop artist <a href="https://thenunnerymusic.com/" title="https://thenunnerymusic.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Nunnery</a> (Sarah Elstran) and Minneapolis-based singer-songwriter <a href="https://sarahmorrismusic.com/" title="https://sarahmorrismusic.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Sarah Morris</a>. This event is part of Lemire’s Northern Minnesota tour, which includes stops in Aitkin, Grand Rapids, and Henning.Advance tickets are available on Eventbrite for $20 (plus fees) beginning at 10 a.m Friday Aug. 30. Advance paper tickets will be available for $20 (plus fees) at <a href="https://www.zenithbookstore.com/" title="https://www.zenithbookstore.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Zenith Bookstore</a> in West Duluth and <a href="https://www.facebook.com/GlobeNewsSuperior/" title="https://www.facebook.com/GlobeNewsSuperior/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Globe News</a> in Superior. Tickets will be available at the door for $25 while supply lasts. Doors at 6:30 pm. Music at 7:30 pm.
