English description: Please scroll down.[イベント] 映画「最後の乗客」完成記念ファンドレイジングイベント〜東日本大震災１０年メモリアルプロジェクト[日程] 2023年2月18日(土)[開場] 5:30 PM[開演] 6 PM[会場] Scandinavia House, Victor Borge Hall (B1F)[住所] 58 Park Avenue, NYC (between 37th and 38th Sts.)[寄付] 30ドル〜※今回の上映会は、今後の本作品の上映会や映画祭への出品費用を賄うためのファンドレイジングイベントで、どこかの被災地へ寄付を行うようなものではございません。[内容]「The Last Passenger」　(邦題「最後の乗客」）宮城のクリエーターによる１００％メイド・イン宮城のオリジナルムービーの試写会、卵おにぎり試食[後援] NY宮城県人会、おむすび権兵衛[協力] CATCH US Performing Arts、Mar Creation[問合] Hiroshi KONO - contact@marcreation.com東日本大震災１０年メモリアルプロジェクト「The Last Passenger」　(邦題「最後の乗客」）宮城のクリエーターによる１００％メイド・イン宮城のオリジナルムービー ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー 震災から10 年目の2021年3月公開を目指し製作が進められていた、映画【最後の乗客】は、映画製作と上映活動を通して震災の追憶や学びを風化させることなく、復興から次世代の育成と地域産業の発展への支援を行っていきたいという、被災地に思いを寄せたプロジェクトとしてスタートしました。しかしコロナ禍で撮影は延期に……。その間も準備は進め、万全の対策をとりながら撮影は2021年11月19日にスタート。寒風が吹く中、たくさんの方々のご協力、ご支援を得て、撮影は11月25日にクランクアップしました。思えば東日本大震災、震災から10年の節目となる年にはコロナ禍と、12年が経過しました。その間には悲しいことばかりではなく、みなさまの心にも一条の光が射すことがあったと思いたい。過去を乗り越え未来へ導く光を、映画【最後の乗客】は描いています。S T O R Y東日本大震災から10年――。とある東北の小さな駅のロータリー。タクシードライバーの遠藤は受験で東京へ行ったきり音信不通の娘みずきの帰りを待っている。遠藤は娘と喧嘩別れしたきり一度も会っていないのだ。そんなある日、幽霊がでると噂の沿岸道路で一人の謎の女性客を乗せる。女は「浜町まで」と告げる。そして、その途中、同じく「浜町」へ行きたいという親子も同乗し、４人は浜町を目指すが。。。卵おにぎりこの映画の中には、ある「おにぎり」が重要なシーンごとに登場します。それは「卵おにぎり」です。これは、もともと宮城の震災復興の一つとして宮城の物産である米や海苔などをこの映画を通して世界に紹介するきっかけづくりにできないかという思いから、この企画がスタートしたからです。海外の映画祭や上映会とともにおにぎりイベントを行い、「おにぎり」を世界でもっと広めたいという願いから、この映画を製作しました。そして、本作品中「卵おにぎり」は父娘の絆の象徴になっておりますが、実際にこのおにぎりは、私の母がよく自分が中学生の頃に部活のお弁当などにいれてくれた「おふくろの味」でもあるのです。おにぎりの具に醤油を垂らして焼いた卵を入れただけのおにぎりですが、今では亡き母の良い思い出です。そして今回は特別に、ニューヨークとニュージャージーに店舗を構える「おむすび権米衛」が、その幻のおにぎりを再現してくださり、上映会のあとにお試しいただけます。さて、幻の「卵おにぎり」の味とは。監督堀江貴：宮城県出身のニューヨーク在住映像ディレクター。南カリフォルニア大学映画学科を卒業。2016 年に制作した大江千里のミュージックビデオ「Tiny Snow」がニューヨークジャズフィルムフェスティバルで最優秀ミュージックビデオ賞とジャズゴールデンタイム賞をダブル受賞。2017年には、自主制作短編映画「Ordinary Days」がサンタモニカのThe Artemis Women in Action Film Festivalと東の登竜門といわれるペンシルバニアのNew Hope Film Festivalで短編ナレイティブ部門で上映された。主演岩田華怜：宮城県出身の俳優。元AKB48、みやぎ絆大使。2011 年２月AKB48 第12 期研究生オーディションに合格し、12 年３月にチーム4 へ13 歳という当時「最年少記録」で昇格。2016 年３月にAKB48 を卒業してからは舞台やドラマ、映画で活躍。近年の主な出演作品に【映画】『殿、利息でござる！』(2016)、『鶯谷ワンダーランド』（2021）、【舞台】『悪霊』(2019)、『ハリー・ポッターと呪いの子』（2022）などがある。冨家規政：神奈川県出身の俳優。玉川大学演劇科入学。大学二年次に中退し芸能事務所に所属、俳優キャリアをスタート。1983年NHK連続テレビ小説「おしん」でデビュー。以来、テレビドラマを中心に映画、舞台、CMなどで活躍。2016年山梨県のやまなし大使に任命される。撮影佐々木靖之: 宮城県出身の撮影監督。東京芸術大学映像研究科を修了。『ディストラクション・ベイビーズ』で第38回ヨコハマ映画祭の撮影賞を受賞。昨年「ドライブ・マイ・カー」でアカデミー賞を受賞した濱口竜介監督の震災の記録映像をアーカイブするドキュメンタリー作品「東北記録映画三部作」、「寝ても覚めても」（2018）を撮影。 音楽　徳家 “Toya” 敦: 作編曲家/音楽プロデューサー /キーボード・プレー ヤー 東京都出身。国立音楽大学作曲科卒業。ベンE・キング、ディオンヌ・ワーウィック、マキシーン・ブラウン、 チャック・ジャクソン、ディーディー・シャープなどの音楽監督、編曲家、演奏家として活躍。故Ben E. King の編曲家に抜擢され、2011年 からはプロデューサーとしてレコーディン グ、ツアーで彼の右腕として活躍。東日本大震災の復興支援アルバムも制作。Ben E. Unfortunately, it destroyed many towns in the coastal area in Northeastern part of Japan, and claimed almost 16,000 lives. Many people’s lives were changed forever on that fateful day. We appreciate all the kindness and love sent from all over the world during that time. Without the support, we would not have been able to recover this much from the devastating the loss of families, friends, and homes. It is almost 12 years since then. People moved on, and the disaster became old news to other people now. So, I thought I need to make something to remember the day, so that we can continue made this film in order to make something to remember it again and hopefully something to talk about it for the future. STORYIt is a fictional story set in the Miyagi prefecture 10 years after Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. This movie revolves around a father and daughter separated by an impossible disaster while they try to reconcile their relationship. Mr. Endo, a taxi driver, has been waiting for his daughter since she left to take a college exam in Tokyo on the day of the earthquake. One late night, Mr. Endo picks up several customers, including a mother with a young girl and another young girl about around the same age as his own daughter. They all ask him to take them to a seaside town, one which was swallowed by a gigantic tsunami ten years ago, leaving nothing left. Who is the last passenger? This story follows rediscovering family and love after your world is turned upside down. We hope we can send a hopeful and encouraging message to help survivors move forward.WHY WE NEED YOUR SUPPORTThe screening of this film is currently self-funded and supported by friends and volunteers. Please join us and help us to spread this film to the world!DIRECTORTAKASHI HORIE is a New York-based independent filmmaker. Born in Sendai, Miyagi. Horie has been working as a director/cinematographer/editor for numerous music videos and promotional videos in the US, and received multiple international video awards. His first short film, “Ordinary Days” was nominated and premiered at Artemis Film Festival in April 2017, and screened at New Hope Film Festival in July 2017. His new film, “The Last Passenger” was nominated in Motoreal independent film festival, and won Best Independent Film awards in San Diego Art Film Festivals.CASTKAREN IWATA (starring: Mizuki) is an actress and former member of the Japanese idol girl group AKB48 under Team A and Former Ambassador Miyagi Kizuna. Born in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, Iwata passed the AKB48 12th Research Student Audition in February 2011 and was promoted to Team 4 in March 2012 at the age of 13 at the "youngest record". 26th single "Matsuka's Sounds good!" Is the first single selection. Since she left AKB48 in March 2016, she has been active on stage and in movies. Recent major works include [Drama] "Akahige 2" (19 NHK) "Saki-Saki-Achiga hen episode of side-A" (17 TBS), [Movie] "Saki-Saki-Achiga hen episode of side-A ”(18),“ Don't go for interest! MUSIC					ATSUSHI- TOYA- TOKUYA is a composer, Arranger, Keyboardist &amp; Producer.Born in Tokyo, Japan, TOYA moved to New York City in 1991 after working on more than 100 CDs and many concert tours with famous artists in Japan. He has worked with world-renowned singers including Ben E. King (Stand By Me), Maxine Brown (R&B Hall of Fame), Dee Dee Sharp (R&R Hall of Fame), and many more as a Musical Director and or a keyboardist. Toya has also produced albums, concerts, television commercials, and music for theater. In 2011, Toya produced Ben E. King's latest album "Dear Japan - Ue Wo Muite Arukou", (Universal Music Japan) for the people affected by the 2011 earthquake and tsunami in Tohoku, Japan. He is currently composing music for Saint Louis Ballet’s “Appassionato” and “Moment”.
