Pittsburgh Sound + Image starts the new year by proclaiming that less is more.

When it comes to mysterious old film reels, we&#x27;ve noticed that, in many cases, the shorter the title, the better. So we&#x27;ve selected some of our favorite 16mm films with one word titles to prove that a shorter title tends to be a movie with a more abstract theme...and with freeform aesthetics to match!J﻿ust a few examples of titles you might see in this show:<ul><li>Sally</li><li>Eucalyptus</li><li>Walking</li><li>Fog</li><li>Omega</li><li>Momentum</li></ul>We&#x27;ll provide everyone a list of one-word title films — more than we’ll have time to show. We’ll ask each guest to mark a “1” next to the ONE film that sounds most intriguing. At showtime, we’ll collect and count votes. The films with the most votes get shown! Doors open at 7:30. Films start at 8:00.B﻿YOBAccessibility note: The street-level entrance to the screening space has at 2-3 inch lip at the door, which we&#x27;ll be very glad to assist with. Stairs are not required. Details and contact info will be emailed to registrants.
