A new little challenge for those who like meditation!
Even 5 minutes of meditation can calm you down - make time for 1 hour! What would you experience? How far would you delve into inner calmness and peace?

Join us during one Saturday, or all 3 Saturdays! Each week - a different technique!
Learn through your own practice how to make a relatively long period of meditation easier, and more productive.

Traditionally, meditation had been always an essential part of Hatha Yoga. The physical asanas/movements were meant to keep a good health and the capacity to withstand intensive periods of meditation, as well as to stay more mindful in daily life.
We will prepare for sitting in stillness with physical exercices, so please bring your Yoga mat!
It is ok to adjust your meditation posture during 1 hour, you will learn different ways how!

DATE: Saturdays, May 25, June 1, June 8
✨TIME: 3pm, please be punctual.
✨DURATION: approximately 2-3 hours, we will look for an inspiring place in the park, share experience and knowledge, and do physical movements to prepare.
✨MEETING PLACE: Mount Royal park, the front entrance of Smith House, next to the water fountain and a big parking lot. This is an old house with a small museum, gifts shop and a cafe.
SMITH HOUSE: 1260 Remembrance Rd, Montreal, QC H3H 1A2
(this is NOT the house next to the Beavers lake, and this is NOT the house next to the lookout point over the downtown area).
PRICE: FREE
✨WHAT TO BRING: a water bottle, a yoga mat, maybe a cushion – whatever you need to comfortably sit for one hour. It is ok to sit on a chair, cross-legged position is helpful but just an option. Invite your spiritually ♥️ed friends!
The best way to learn about meditation, is to experience it!
✨WHO CAN ATTEND: everybody in a relatively good physical shape, being able to sit for one hour and do some light Yoga type physical exercises.
PREPARATION: if possible, try to meditate regularly before these classes.
