 讲座背景：
GANs在NIPS大会（机器学习盛典）被提到超过170次，Facebook、Apple以及Open AI等AI业界巨头纷纷加入对GANs的研究。
GANs于2014年被Ian Goodfellow引入深度学习领域。在短短3年时间内，GANs引发了大量高质量的深入探讨，并衍生出很多基于GANs的深度学习模型。
GANs可以用在无监督学习，从现有的样本中学会产生新的样本。GANs的应用包括：
l  Style Transfer - 通过神经网络的对画家（如梵高，莫奈）绘画风格的学习，将用户上传的个人照片，经由深度学习模型进行图片重组，进而将用户的照片转化成特定艺术家风格的图片。
l  Pix2pix - 通过对配对图片的学习（如某种物体的图片及其标签），神经网络模型将识别简笔画，并根据所画轮廓自动填色生成图案，在动画领域中广泛应用。
