Sponsored by the BerkshireWorks Career Center, this information session will provide a high level overview of the Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund Program. You'll learn that with funding from the WTFP, you can train workers in a wide array of skill sets, including, but not limited to:
- Improving workers' English language proficiency to enhance safety and productivity on the job
- Training employees in new production methods to remain competitive
- Developing the leadership skills of managers and supervisors
At this 1.5 hour event, you will learn about the four main types of grants businesses can receive for incumbent worker training:
- General Program Training Grants - including Consortium Grants
- Express Program Training Grants
- Technical Assistance Grants
- Regional Training Capacity Pilot Program
The overview will cover the features and benefits of each program, the amount of available funding, and how to apply.
