The number of women bicycling in San Francisco is on the rise, but women still make up less than ⅓ of the number of people biking on the streets. Are you one of the women on the road? Do you want to be? Join us for an evening of short films, snacks and discussion about how to get more women rolling!
Women + Bikes Night
Date: Thursday, September 18th
Time: 6:30-8:30 PM
Location: Sports Basement, Bryant Street
Details: You’ll see two short films created by two local women who bike. Ellie McCutcheon’s An Ode to Bicycle Travel and Kristin Tieche’s The Spinster. After the movie, you can meet and mingle with SF Bicycle Coalition staff and members and chime in on the women’s issues that matter the most to you. The SF Bicycle Coalition is planning a Women + Bikes program and wants to hear your ideas. Join us to get the conversation started and help get more women on the road!
