WCA ART DAY AT DJERASSI

WHAT: The Women's Caucus for Art (WCA) Day at Djerassi brings together a vibrant community of women artists to explore, make art, reflect and interact in a setting of great natural beauty. This is also a unique opportunity to tour the land art created by artists in residency at Djerassi in the hills above the Northern California peninsula. Djerassi is closed to visitors most of the year so this is a special offering to WCA.

Included in the ticket price are:
- 2 hour walking tour of the land art at Djerassi
- Two workshops of your choice from a variety of options
- Continental breakfast, gourmet lunch, afternoon beverages catered by Djerassi chef
- Ecstacize! A fun practice in letting life create through you.
- Making a Living as an Artist: Embracing Failure and Success Conversation

WHERE: The Djerassi Resident Artists Program is internationally recognized as one of the eminent artist residency programs located in Woodside, CA.

WHEN: 8:30 - 4:30pm, September 7, 2014

WHO: Women artists and women interested in the arts, who reside in California,18 years of age or older.

HOW TO REGISTER:

• WCA invites the public to join in this special day.
• There are only 12 public tickets available. Sign up is first come first served. Total attendance is capped at 50 participants.
• Prioritize your workshop choices (1 being your first choice, 2 being your second choice, etc). When you check-in on 9/7 you will receive your schedule for 2 workshops.
• Carpooling is required by the venue. Upon sign-up, attendees will receive information concerning carpooling
• DEADLINE TO SIGN-UP IS SEPTEMBER 3, 2014.
