Description

Have you ever wanted a green thumb? Let Archer Altstaetter teach you how to grow your own food in an urban environment. Plant, cultivate and harvest a wide variety of garden vegetables and flowers. Learn to plant tomatoes, lettuce, kale, chard, onions, and much more!

  1. Bring gloves if you don't want to get your hands dirty (even though its great to touch the earth).
  2. Bring pictures of where you want to grow food so we can plan what will work best in your space.
  3. Bring small garden tools (shovels, shears, etc.) if you have them.
  4. We'll be in the sun and getting and playing with soil. Dress appropriately.

To celebrate our Grand Opening of the Brad Brafford LGBT Center on 4th, courses are free until July 1st. Be sure to use the Promotional Code "FREE" when you RSVP to attend this event for free.

All courses at the Center on 4th must have a minimum of 4 attendees in order to be conducted. If this course has less than 4 attendees you will be notified 24 hours prior to the course start.

Attendees of the Center on 4th consent to use of their photograph or video by the Center on 4th and the LGBT Center OC.
