Electing to Participate: UCSS Fall 2016 Conference

The breakfast and registration will start at 8:00 AM. The first break-out session will begin at 8:30. We have several sessions dealing with civic engagement in the classroom. We also have an amazing Keynote speaker: Joan Trumpauer Mulholland, a participant in the Freedom Rides and lunch counter sit-ins during the Civil Rights Movement.

Teachers will receive .5 Credit for Lane Change from USBE

Your ticket purchase includes a one year membership in the Utah Council for the Social Studies. The conference will include a continental breakfast and lunch. Your membership will include two free tickets to our movie Saturday in the Winter, a copy of our Journal, the quarterly newsletter we will soon be starting which will provide resources for teachers, and opportunities for your students to participate in upcoming contests and scholarships.
