Description

The Wunderkind Projekt (Deeper Engagement Program)
Presented by: Washington Bach Consort
A "wunderkind" is a person who achieves great success at a young age. Professional musicians and educators from the Bach Consort “the nation’s premiere baroque chorus and orchestra” will visit your school and discuss an upcoming Bach Cantata concert which students are then invited to attend. The musicians will continue the discussion with your fourth grade students after the performance to reinforce the concert experience. We strive to create a deep appreciation for music. What will your students produce after experiencing Bach's music—higher test scores, a newfound appreciation for music and the arts, or a 21st-century Bach revival? We can’t wait to see what your "wunderkinder" can accomplish!
