This annual seminar is designed to provide an up to date picture of the current business scene in Hong Kong and prospects for the year ahead. An important focus this year will be on Hong Kong’s place within the Greater Bay Area and will also aim to address the implications for business of the protests Hong Kong has seen.

Keynote speakers from the British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office will give an overview of the current business climate, followed by a panel discussion including top representatives from Hong Kong SAR government and business leaders giving a comprehensive and multi-dimensional assessment of how Hong Kong business sits with mainland China and the wider region.

The final part of the seminar will give attendees ample chance to ask questions. Please note that the Seminar is off the record and Chatham House rules apply.

Thanks to the kindness and generosity of Standard Chartered Bank, the event will conclude with drinks and a good chance to talk further with those involved.

The evening is being generously hosted by Standard Chartered Bank. Attendees are asked to arrive by 6.15 pm so that the seminar can start promptly at 6.30pm. Drinks will be served from 7.45 pm to 8.30 pm.

Space will be limited and seats will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Further details will be sent to those attending shortly before the event.
