The Guardsmen are proud to present The 3rd Annual San Francisco Lawn Party, San Francisco's largest one day waterfront party and concert featuring lawn games including: a cornhole tournament, bocce ball and croquet as well as live performances by Poprocks, Cheeseballs & DJ Ajax. Gourmet food trucks will be on site.
A tented VIP lounge features a hosted beer and wine bar. In addition Tommy's Margarita will be serving up their famous margarita's all afternoon.
All proceeds benefit The Guardsmen - supporting educational and outdoor initiatives for at-risk youth in the Bay Area.
Cornhole (non-tourny play is right next to tournament play)
BYOG (aka bring your own games): You are encouraged to bring just about any game you can think of, we welcome your creativity. There will be hundreds of people available to play and enjoy it with you.
Team registration and practice will start at noon and the tournament will begin at 12:45pm. The format is double-elimination with 32 teams of two competing for valuable prizes and bragging rights. Each member of your team will need to purchase a ticket for the Lawn Party in addition to a single Tournament Entry for your team. When you purchase your Tournament Entry, you will have an opportunity to enter your team name. Then, tell all your friends to come watch you win! Please no vulgar team names - keep it classy San Francisco. The Guardsmen reserve the right to reject or change any inappropriate or duplicate team names, at our discretion.
The members of the winning team will each receive A Year's Supply of Chubbies Shorts (valued at $300).

We encourage all our guests to leave their cars at home and take an alternative means of transportation to The SF Lawn Party. Parking will be very limited. SF Muni has a number of routes which will bring you to within a few blocks of the Marina Green. Visit sfmuni.org to plan your journey. Taxi/Uber- Ask the taxi driver to drop you off on Marina Blvd. and Fillmore St. If you plan to drink, please don't drive.
Q: Are there in and out privileges?
Q: Are dogs welcome?
A: Yes -- man's best friend and lawn games are a quintessential part of Americana. Park service says they have to be on leash.
Q: Are kids welcome?
A: Yes, with parents. Kids 12 and under are free. Teenagers 13-20 are $20.
Q: Can I bring outside food?
A: Yes, but coolers and outside alcohol are not permitted.
Q: What is the dress code?
A: There is no dress code, wear whatever you would like. However, the weather can change quickly in San Francisco, so come prepared.
Q: Something came up, can I get a refund?
A: We are sorry, no refunds are offered. All proceeds go to the Guardsmen, this all-volunteer organization, founded in 1947, provides access to high-quality educational and outdoor activities for inner-city youth.
The Guardsmen is a group of Bay Area men mobilizing their significant talents and resources to enhance and improve the lives of at-risk youth. This all-volunteer organization, founded in 1947, provides access to high-quality educational and outdoor activities for inner-city youth. The opportunities created through The Guardsmen's scholarship and campership programs mean that every year kids who otherwise would not have a chance at success are given the opportunity to excel as productive members of society. Each year The Guardsmen sends 2,500 youth to outdoor education programs and provides scholarship support to more than 250 students at Bay Area private schools.
The Guardsmen is committed to making sure that fundraising dollars are spent wisely, with the greatest need and highest returns always in mind. In fact, approximately 90 cents of every dollar raised goes directly to support programs for kids.
