Considered an icon on the music genre, David Sánchez Badillo, best known as TEMPO, the creator of hits like "Amen", "Tu y Quien Más", "Descontrólate", "Ahora Si Mami" y "Deja que hable el Dembow" ft. Wisin & Yandel, among others.

Tempo was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico and raised at Residencial Lirios del Sur. From childhood he began to develop his musical skills as a percussionist, and standing out as a talented teenager Spanish MC rap.

Under Buddha's Productions record label productions: "GameOver" (1999) and "New Game" (2000), achieved become gold records. He participated as a co-producer on the album, Buddha'sFamily, which received a gold record and two platinum, and production "Vida Eterna" (2002) of his colleagues Getto & Gastam. The Tempo-Éxitos (2002) and Free-Tempo: Victory (2009) were distributed under record label Sony Music.

Throughout his musical career, Tempo has received important distinctions, which highlights the Paoli and Premios Tu Musica Awards and also Latin Grammy nomination in 2009 in the category of best long video for the documentary included in cd/dvd Free-Tempo: Victory-which also includes a historic collaboration with the London Symphony Orchestra. Currently, TEMPO is working on his seventh album, titled "Freedom". After more than 12 years away from stage.
