Several New England brewers are crafting superb renditions of traditional Saisons and Farmhouse Ales, which are a perfect addition to the late summer evenings you'll be spending on patios and decks, munching on bright tangy cheeses and fantastic cured meats. Join Lauren Clark, author of Crafty Bastards: Beer in New England from the Mayflower to Modern Day, former brewer, and beer historian, as she highlights some of her favorite New England summer beers. Not only will we discuss the history of the Saison, but we will also help you compose a perfect cheese plate to go alongside these summer ales.
