Stocking your Facilitation Toolkit
An exclusive professional development workshop for Net Impact Premium Members.

You are invited on the evening of Tuesday August 19th to explore the fine art of facilitation. This is NOT a workshop on how to give a presentation, rather an evening to cultivate the skills needed to unlock meaningful conversations with a group. This workshop is designed for people who lead meetings, design workshops, conduct trainings, plan and run conferences, or otherwise are responsible for convening people and are tired of doing the same old panel or presentation format.

This is an opportunity to enhance your personal Facilitation Tool Kit as we explore alternative ways to engage your audience. We will cover some well known but often overlooked techniques including:

  • Dialogue facilitation
  • Unconferences
  • Fishbowl Group Conversation
  • Conversation Mapping
  • World Cafe
  • Tips and tricks to handle challenging conversations, emotionally charged content, and managing strong personalities.

The event starts at 6:30PM, and light food and drinks will be provided. We will have time following the discussion for networking and informal conversations.

This informative and interactive conversation will be led by:

Jim Turner - Executive Director of the California Resiliency Alliance (www.caresiliency.org), mediator, experienced stakeholder engagement facilitator, and former USF Graduate School of Management Associate Professor
Avary Kent - Co-Founder of ImpactAlpha, Executive Director of Conveners.org, and former President of the NISF Professional Chapter.

Space is very limited - reserve your seat today.
