We are gathering this summer on the big bend of the Green River, where Skinner Brothers had their rafting camp, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the creation of Skinner Brothers Wilderness Schools and the 80th anniversary of Clem Skinner's outfitting business. Our goal is to get back to the Wind River mountains, see old friends and help Monte, Courtney and Ole celebrate their amazing milestone.
Below is a list of the main activities happening over the weekend of the Reunion. We will also provide directions farther below for these locations.
FRIDAY MEETUP Friday, Aug 12th @ 7:00PM - 10PM at the Lakeside Lodge (at Fremont Lake) near Pinedale
For those that get into Pinedale early, we will meet up on Friday night in Pinedale at the Lakeside Lodge restaurant. Then we will all meet at the Green River rafting camp location on Saturday and camp overnight, departing Sunday. At the rafting camp there will be time to catch up with old friends, enjoy great western food from Pitchfork Fondue, see photos and videos of the camp, and listen to the amazing Roz Brown sign and play his guitar. Perhaps we can all say a few things about the amazing Skinner Brothers too.

We have arranged for Pinedale restaurant Pitchfork Fondu to cater our event on Saturday and Sunday morning at the Green River rafting camp. There are two packages. The first package offers food for lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. This is the campers package. The second package is for Dinner only on Saturday night. Both packages also cover expenses like porta potties, tables, chairs, tents, gifts for the brothers, etc.
TWO DAY CAMPER PACKAGE (COVERS OTHER EXPENSES TOO): $75
DINNER ONLY (COVERS OTHER EXPENSES TOO) $45
These packages also includes (for adults only) two drink tickets for adult beverages. We are asking attendees to pay for their meals and help defer the expenses we are incurring to host the event. If you aren't planning to eat, please consider a modest donation to help us defray the other costs.
CAMPING ON THE GREEN

The reunion will be an overnight camping experience! Feel free to set up your tent at the Green River rafting camp location and stay until Sunday (or into the next week). Because you are Skinner alumni, we’re counting on you bringing your own camping equipment (e.g., tents, sleeping bags). Don’t forget your Ten Essentials and your Alaskan Backpack too!

If you have pictures of the amazing activities (rafting, riding, climbing, surviving, etc) and the people doing them (Brothers, counselors, campers), please send us digital versions.
