SHIRE | CHANTERELLE | BAT WALK | PIZZA NIGHT

Fingers crossed it won't be too late in the season to find some chanterelle mushrooms to add to our delicious wood fire pizzas for dinner and if we play our cards right the shires might be up for taking us on an evening wagon ride.

At 7:00 o'clock we are so lucky to have Cris Peterson leading us in an informal lecture about bats! Then we will be full of pizza and ready for our walk in the woods to see if we can't find for ourselves some of those mysterious winged creatures.

As always at Two Pony Gardens it is pack it in, pack it out. Bring your own beverages, side dishes, plates, utensils, picnic blankets, lawn chairs and waste receptacles to take your trash home in. Definitely don't forget the bug spray, weather appropriate clothing, good walking shoes, your best manners and your appetite for adventure!

Bats are our friends, the eat insane amounts of annoying mosquitoes, they are the only mammals in the world capable of true flight and the ones that live in Minnesota are rarely over one ounce in weight. Remarkable little ones! At Two Ponys we believe that understanding the wildlife around us is part of conserving nature, so please join us for a night of outdoor fun on the farm. All of our events are rain or shine! It is very difficult for us to do returns on tickets, so be certain you can attend or be prepared to sell those babies on Facebook!
