SDIC Spring Summit 2016: 25th Anniversary - Celebrating Then. Next. Now.

Join us to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the San Diego Immunization Coalition (SDIC) on Friday, April 15, 2016. For the past quarter-century, SDIC has continued to be a primary source for information, collaboration, and strategies to promote and increase immunizations throughout San Diego County. SDIC has grown to over 600 individuals who are immunization partners, representing over 400 partner organizations working together to identify evidence-based approaches as well as to develop new methods to raise immunization coverage for all residents in the region.

We are pleased to announce TWO special keynote speakers: (1) Dr. Sarah Royce, Chief of the Immunization Branch at the California Department of Public Health and (2) Dr. Richard Pan, California State Senator who authored SB 277.



Scheduled speakers are also Dr. Mark Sawyer and Leora Suprun. The SDIC Spring Summit will cover:

• SDIC’s history and impact in San Diego County
• Regional and statewide immunization goals
• ACIP updates
• Overview of upcoming vaccines
• Multidisciplinary approaches to increase immunizations
  
  

Participants will also get a chance to network with each other and interact with representatives from exhibitor booths. Who should attend:

• Pharmacists
• School nurses and daycare staff
• Community based organizations

CEUs available: Provider #CEP579 is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) to provide two (2) continuing education contact hours offered for this training.

Parking is conveniently located across the street from the venue at a rate of $5/day. As of March 23, 2016, we are working to purchase a limited quantity of prepaid parking passes for those who cannot afford it or for those whose work will not offer reimbursement. Please submit a request when you register online and you will be given a confirmation if your request is approved.
