Join Cultural Vistas and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for an exclusive preview of opportunities to study, intern and research in Germany

(Re)Discovering Germany will be held for the first time in Arizona, on the campus of Arizona State University. It is designed as a workshop for faculty, staff, administrators and univeristies to learn about current opportunities and funding available in Germany.

Come and get the latest information on research funding and collaboration, student internships and fellowships, and opportunities for institutional relationships. There will be time for questions and discussion with a networking lunch reception to follow.

The workshop format will feature:

  • Welcome remarks by Dr. Helge Jordan, Honorary Consul of Arizona and Vice Director of the German American Chamber of Commerce
  • Presentation of programs and funding through Cultural Vistas and DAAD
  • Q&A discussion with Summer Internship Program to Germany and RISE Alumni
  • Networking luncheon and information fair


Registration is free but limited. Please note that the workshop is not intended for students but do feel free to invite any colleagues who might be interested in attending.

Workshop Location Details

The workshop will be held in the library of the historic Old Main building on the campus of ASU. Further location details and directions for parking will be sent to all registered attendees prior to the workshop.
