As the Philadelphia cultural sector continues to expand and thrive, many individual artists are falling behind the curve in terms of pay equity, sustainable and consistent employment, and access to funding for their work. Join us as we discuss the factors that have contributed to the under-valuation of creative work in the arts, and brainstorm about new models and advocacy tools, and about how to create an empowered and stable community of artists as a force to be reckoned with in the future.
