Come join us for a one-day conference on global water history, where we learn about the latest research currently carried out in the field by graduate students from across the world. Featured papers will explore humanity’s relationship with the hydrosphere in the modern period, with case studies ranging from the urban landscapes of Cape Town, South Africa to the deserts of the U.S.-Mexican borderlands. Student presentations will be followed by a question and answer session with Ellen Arnold, editor of Water History. Meet and network with fellow students and faculty members over coffee and lunch and tell us about your own research and future plans! Questions? Please contact Matthew Johnson, mpj16@georgetown.edu
