TRANSIT
Nearest Airport: Seattle-Tacoma Int'l (SEA)
Public transit on the Link Light Raili between SeaTac airport and the Convention Center costs $3, is direct, and takes about 45 minutes. The "Westlake" stop is in the heart of downtown, closest to the Convention Center.
A taxi between downtown and the airport will cost about $40 USD and takes about 25 minutes without traffic. During rush hour, it will take longer and cost more.
LODGING
Hotels in the downtown area tend to be expensive, but going a little further out and things are more reasonable.
Parking in the downtown area ranges from $15 - $40 per day, and traffic can be extremely congested at peak times (8 - 10am, 4 - 6pm).
The city has plenty of taxi's, but you're better off getting Uber or Lyft service than you are hailing a cab on the street.
Public transit is readily available and integrated with Google Maps. The "OneBusAway" mobile app also provides up-to-the-minute status on bus arrival times.
