The Ohio Hazmat Teams Conference is the premier Hazardous Materials & CBRNE Conference in Ohio!

This conference started in 1999 to bring high quality hazmat training to the responders in Northeast Ohio. It grew to include responders from across the state. Each year over 300 Hazmat Technicians and Specialist attend this conference to update and improve their technical knowledge of hazmat emergency response.

The conference is generously supported by the PUCO, the Cuyahoga County LEPC, the Chagrin/Southeast Hazmat Team, Cleveland State University, the City of Solon, the hazmat teams of Northeast Ohio and the vendors. Thanks to this sponsorship attendees are able to attend at little or no cost.

Conference attendees include Hazmat Technicians, Hazmat Specialists, Bomb Technicians, EMS Personnel, Firefighters, Law Enforcement Officers, EPA Personnel, Industrial Hazmat Responders and many more.

The conference is designed to encourage networking, allow ample time to visit hazmat vendors and see the latest in tools, equipment and technologies. Local hazmat teams, as well as clean-up contractors, bring their apparatus and equipment to display.

Nationally known speakers will present best practices for instrumentation, specific chemical response and current events. Ohio experts will review hazmat case histories, present local best practices and share ideas and information. Lunch is provided both days.

IMPORTANT PARKING NOTE: The Community Center has asked that conference attendees park in the auxiliary parking lot which is located just west of the community center parking lot and is about a one minute walk to the community center. This will allow closer parking and access for residents attending the Senior Center and the Community Center. Please look for the signs and park in the designated area.

CONFERENCE T-SHIRTS

Ohio Hazmat Teams Conference T-Shirts will be offered for sale again this year. Bring your cash or check (sorry, no credit cards). Shirts are silk screened with the conference logo. The shirts will be available for just $15 and they will go fast. Get yours early as they always sell out.
