Manual J and Manual S Training

This course is given free of charge. Registration doors will open at 7:30 AM. Training begins at 8 AM, and runs until 5 PM, with a one hour lunch break from 12 PM - 1 PM.

Participants should bring their own lunch, and also need to bring a calculator! If applicable, bring your BPI and NATE candidate IDs with you.

New Jersey's Clean Energy Program WARMAdvantage Program Changes took effect January 1, 2017 (for equipment purchased as of 1/1/2017). This training program will help contractors understand and perform accurate Manual J load calculations and select properly sized equipment in accordance with Manual S. This information is vital for residential customers to be eligible for rebates on high efficiency HVAC equipment (a load calculation consistent with ACCA Manual J procedures is required). All newly installed high-efficiency equipment should be sized in accordance with ACCA Manual S based on building loads calculated in accordance with the Air Conditioning Contractors or America (ACCA) Manual J (or an equivalent calculation methodology).

Techinicians earn 6 NATE CEHs toward re-certification in all specialties except Refrigeration Installation, and/or 8 BPI CEUs.
