Event Summary: Malware Teardown: Threats Against Data vs. Threats Against Computing Power

Join us on Thursday, January 25th for our regular monthly meeting. We will be hearing from Marc Messer with Kroll as he performs a walkthrough of some malware samples that threaten organizations on multiple fronts. The presentation aims to provide insight into the reverse engineering and malware analysis process and its outcomes.

Speaker Bio:

Marc Messer is a reverse engineer from Knoxville, TN. His background is primarily in incident response and malware analysis. He currently works at Kroll after spending 6 years at Leidos in the Defense Industry. When not staring at debuggers, he enjoys playing music and running.
