Local Presidents Meeting

Local Association Presidents - YOU ARE INVITED!!!

You are invited to attend the upcoming local presidents training/meeting being held on Thursday, November 10th. There are two parts to this training. We encourage locals to attend and to include their VPs/Treasurers, or Secretary/Treasurers. NOTE: IF YOU ARE INVITING OTHER EXEC BOARD MEMBERS TO ATTEND, PLEASE FORWARD THE EVENTBRITE LINK SO THEY CAN REGISTER. (OR CONTACT MICHELLE at mjoy@washingtonea.org)

• REGULAR LOCAL PRESIDENT TRAINING - From 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM we will hold our regular local presidents training in the MAIN FLOOR conference room. You may invite 1-2 Local Exec Board Members to attend with you. This training will include a short presentation by Teresa Meunch, NEA Member Benefits!
  

• ADDITIONAL TRAINING "BUDGET PRACTICES/FISCAL SUSTAINABILITY" BY STEPHEN MILLER, WEA VICE-PRESIDENT, AND TOM GRANGER, WEA ACCOUNTING - From 4:30PM to 5:30PM this training will be held in the DOWNSTAIRS CONFERENCE ROOM. THIS PORTION IS FOR ALL LOCAL PRESIDENTS, VICE-PRESIDENT/TREASURERS, AND SECRETARIES/TREASURERS.

REGISTRATION FOR BOTH OF THESE TRAININGS IS INCLUDED ON THIS EVENTBRITE PAGE. (You can indicate if you are attending one or both of these). Please remember a separate Eventbrite link will be sent if you are also attending the Council Meeting being held the same evening.

A late lunch will be provided for those who indicate they will eat a meal (we have provided a check box during the registration process). COUNCIL PAYS RELEASE FOR THOSE ATTENDING.
