This second step further EQUIPS those wanting to engage further, qualifying those who complete the training to ACTIVATE as Life Team members with LFTI (eligible to engage in prevention and intervention education, and to volunteer with LFTI strategic partners, etc.).
Topics we will cover:
- History of LFTI
- Vision/mission
- Expectations of our team members
- Assessing our gifts and talents
- Current volunteer needs at LFTI
A light lunch will be provided. You will also have a chance to meet the LFTI staff as well as representatives from our partner organizations. Please bring a notebook and pen. While the Life Team Training is FREE, we request that you include a suggested donation of $50 with your Life Team application. This will help us to cover all costs associated with the Life Team application process.
Attendance at a Justice & Joy Orientation is a prerequisite for becoming a Life Team member. If you know you want to engage as a Life Team member, please take the first step by attending a Justice & Joy Orientation.
