JumpStart Challenge Kickoff 2016
It's that time of year when the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development matches industries with real-world problems with creative solutions from teams of professionals from our very own community.
Jumpstart Challenge 2016
Come learn what challenges different industries face and choose a problem that calls to you. Then, assemble a team and get to work! Entrepreneurs will present their solutions to companies in a short presentation to the companies on February 20th.
The competition has two categories:
Corporate Challenge: An established company presents a problem to the group for consideration. Groups are invited to pitch their solutionsto the chosen corporate problem and demo in the final competition. Each team will have six minutes to pitch their solution and four minutes for Q&A with the judges. The winning team in the category will have the opportunity to collaborate with a corporation and move the idea forward, participating in a 5-Day Design Sprint workshop.
Open Pitch: For a new business under six months old or a startup that is still in the ideas-stage: the Open Pitch category is for you! Teams will have just six minutes to present their idea/business to the judges with a four minute Q&A. The winning team receives $1000 cash prize,a 5-Day Design Sprint workshop and free coworking at FUSE.
