Description

This three hour introductory class is designed to get students who are new to blacksmithg familiar with the basics of the trade: the tools, the equipment, and how to use them safely.

Students will be able to try out a variety of processes blacksmiths use including forging, spreading, scrolling, twisting, chiseling, and punching.

FAQs

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

18+ All participants must sign a waiver before each class.


Do I have to bring anything to the event?

Nope, just yourself.


What if my class doesn't fill?

If your class doesn't fill you will be asked to choose a different time slot.

What if I can't make it to the class?

Make-up dates will not be available. Please try to make it to class.


What is the refund policy?

Refunds will be given up to seven days before the start of the class. After that point, no refund will be given. If you find out that are unable to attend the class after the refund deadline has ended but before the class has started you may give your ticket to a friend. Just give us a 24 hour advanced notice.


The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

Yes. If you are buying a ticket for someone else, please let us know at least 24 hours before the start of the class.


Is there a dress code?

Yes. Please wear long pants and a long sleeved shirt, both 100% cotton. Closed-toe shoes (preferably boots) must be worn. Tie you hair back if it is long. Bring a handkerchief or cotton towel, and plenty of water.
