IEEE P802.3bq and P802.3bz Contingent Interims

As discussed at the IEEE 802.3 interim meeting this week, contingent interim meetings for IEEE P802.3bq 25G/40GBASE-T Task Force and IEEE P802.3bz 2.5G/5GBASE-T Task Force will be held on April 14, 2016 in Santa Clara, California.

IEEE P802.3bq meeting: April 14, 1-2pm Pacific Time

This contingent IEEE P802.3 interim meeting is for the purpose of resolving comments on draft 3.2 if necessary for the completion of Sponsor Ballot. This meeting may be cancelled if the D3.2 recirculation meets the requirements for submittal to Revcom.

IEEE P802.3bz meeting: 2-5pm Pacific Time

This contingent IEEE P802.3 interim meeting is for the purpose of resolving any comments on draft 2.1. This meeting may be cancelled if an additional recirculation is not required before entering Sponsor Ballot.

Attending by teleconference will be an option for these meetings. Please email me (david.chalupsky@intel.com) for call-in information if you plan to attend remotely. Note that one must be present in the room to vote on motions made in the meeting.

The meetings will be hosted by Intel. There will be no registration fees and no hotel block bookings. There are many hotels close to this facility but please be aware they book up early.
