Hot Tuna & Guests: A Benefit to Preserve Bear's Sonic Journals -Presented by The Owsley Stanley Foundation

The evening also features master of improvisation Steve Kimock, Roger McNamee performing solo, the exceptional talent of Dauno Martinez, a rising star in the music industry discovered by Bear himself, and a young Australian band called The Code.

The Owsley Stanley Foundation is dedicated to preserving and sharing the experience of the psychedelic era through Bear’s Sonic Journals.

Anyone purchasing one of our sought after VIP tickets will receive a show laminate, be invited to attend our pre-show soirée, enjoy selected fine wines graciously donated by Dutton Goldfield Winery in Sonoma Valley & pre-selected quality champagne and specially chosen hor d’ oeuvres prepared by Chef Mike Werden from our GAMH kitchen.

In addition, our VIP guests will have the opportunity to meet the board members of The Owsley Stanley Foundation and be entertained by the exceptional talent of Dauno Martinez, a rising star in the music industry discovered by Bear himself.

A hand painted gift bag will be presented to each of our VIPs containing a CD of the very first of “Bear’s Sonic Journals”: “Big Brother and the Holding Company featuring Janis Joplin live at the Carousel Ballroom June 1968.”

Along with the CD, our guests will find handmade gourmet chocolates, a commemorative handmade beautiful soap, a discount ticket for a show poster, and a few other special keepsakes to discover and enjoy.

All gift bag items have been kindly donated by like minded individual companies interested in being part and contributing to “Saving the Tapes”.

We are looking forward to a wonderful evening filled with great music, and stories to celebrate the life and work of Owsley Bear Stanley, a truly amazing individual who touched the hearts and minds of many.
