This practical training will help you understand the benefits of hiring for character and competence – and the challenges you will face if you neglect either component. You will learn to evaluate the specific skill sets needed for different positions. You will also learn how to clarify and communicate what you are looking for in the hiring process while getting the information you need through effective interviewing techniques.

You’ll learn how to…

  • communicate your company’s core values throughout the recruiting and hiring process.

  • define what character means in your organization and set standards of daily work behaviors.

  • identify character qualities needed for specific positions.

  • create interview questions to guide the conversation.

  • utilize a unique approach to assessing a candidate’s character during the interview.

Join us anytime after 9am for coffee and light breakfast; Training begins at 9:30 and runs until noon.

HeadSpace is located at 4100 Midway Rd. Just north of George Bush Tollway and about a mile east of the North Dallas Tollway. Park in front of building and make your way to the second floor. Look for the Strata Leadership signs.

About the Presenter:

Dr. Jason Jones serves as Strata’s Vice-President of Leadership Development and Director of Dallas Operations. Jason is a workplace psychologist, author, and trainer.
