GMU-NSF Conference: Engineering Approach for Disrupting Operations of Illicit Supply Networks

The conference invites the grant awardees of the recent NSF EAGER program as well as selected researchers, NSF program directors, and representatives from federal agencies, international organizations, industry, and think-tanks who work in the area of illicit trade networks.

Travel Arrangements

  • The closest airport to GMU-Arlington is Reagan National (DCA), but Dulles (IAD) serves the area as well. Please make arrangements for your own travel to the conference. If you plan to have a flight reimbursed through your grant, remember that government rules for travel reimbursement apply (coach fares only, US carriers only, etc).

Hotel Reservations

  • Many conference attendees will be staying at The Hilton Arlington, a convenient option located 1/2 mile from GMU (950 North Stafford St, Arlington, VA, 22203). Please make your own reservations for hotel stays, and arrange for reimbursement from your grant.

Will food and refreshments be available on site?

  • Breakfast and lunch will be provided at the conference on both March 25th and 26th.

What parking is available nearby?

  • Visitor parking is available in the Founders Hall Parking Garage. The rates are set at the prevailing rates for all University visitor garages: $3/hour with a daily maximum of $15 Monday-Friday. After 5pm on Fridays and all day on Saturday and Sunday, there is a flat daily rate of $8. Payment methods accepted are cash, coin, and Visa/MasterCard.
