Description

Currently postponed due to coronavirus: Clean Water Action in coordination with the Buxmont Coalition for Safer Drinking Water, the Southeastern PA Chapter of the Sierra Club, and the Conservation voters of PA invite you to a free showing of the film Dark Waters--a cinematic depiction of the pain toxic PFAS chemicals can cause to a community, and how a lawyer took a stand against Dupont to protect public health. This event is sponsored by Representative Todd Stephens and Senator Maria Collett.

A panel including elected officials and local activists about local PFAS contamination will immediately follow the viewing. This story isn't just for the big screen. Approximately 100,000 residents from Bucks and Montgomery county are estimated to have been exposed to PFAS, and we too must take action that will protect our families from the “forever chemicals” that policy-makers are just beginning to understand.
