About this event

COVID-19, has created new conditions for how people are living and moving in their homes. The challenges of keeping the bills low and lights on during a global pandemic-despite a moratorium-can be stressful for families struggling to make ends meet. This three-part series gives advocates and service providers:

• Up-to-date information on public polices to protect families from being shutoff during the COVID moratorium.

• Information on new rules adopted by the CPUC that protect families from shutoffs after the moratorium is over.

• Learn about the Medical Baseline Program and other important programs that can help reduce costs and keep the lights on.

This training-the first in a series of three-will cover:

  • COVID protections - Learn about the utility moratorium
  • How to prepare now for the end of the moratorium

Trainings do not need to be attended in order and will be offered again!
