About Cooper's Data Visualization workshop:
Data without design is overwhelming and meaningless. Designers have an opportunity to take raw data and shape it into useful information through visualizations. This one-day workshop expands with Cooper U’s Visual Interface Design training, offering techniques and best practices for communicating information clearly and effectively through graphical means. You’ll learn how to:
- Determine what your users need to know and what decisions they need to make
- Create visualizations that answer potential questions and communicate brand and experience attributes
- Allow users to manipulate data to get the insights they need
- Apply the basics of information architecture to guide the user with visual cues
Who Should Attend?
Visual Designers, Interaction Designers and Product Managers who have worked with or are just beginning to work with data visualizations.
