It is more than just a day! Lemonade Day is a free, community-wide, educational initiative designed to teach children how to start, own and operate their own business - a lemonade stand.
During the Build-a-Stand event, participants will build a lemonade stand and take home their completed stand!
Build-a-Stand is sponsored and provided by Heights Lumber and Supply
o Please note that Build-a-Stand is open to 20 spots only
o To allow new children to have a lemonade stand, we ask that no youth entrepreneurs from last year's Build-a-Stand event register for this year's event
o One spot = one family per stand
o One family = up to four youth participants
o Parents and mentors – on the Eventbrite link you will only need to register with your information – we will reach out to you about how many youth participants you will have for your family
o Participants MUST provide transportation the day of to take the stand home.
o Please note – we will be assembling a full wooden stand – pickup trucks are recommended for transportation
o We do not have the capacity to store any stands
o We will only be allowing participants who sign up via Eventbrite
o Parents and mentors must be present during the entire event
o We will have a waitlist for those who are not able to register at a first come, first serve basis
o The waitlist will be first come, first serve for any Build-a-Stand participants who cancel their registration
o We will not be able to allow any walk-ins on the day of the event since there will only be enough materials for the 20 stands
PHOTO POLICY: On occasion, Lemonade Day may take photos and/or video of participants enrolled in sponsored programs/events. Please be aware that these photos and videos are for Lemonade Day use only and may be used in future brochures, flyers, presentations, advertisements, or on the Lemonade Day Fort Cavazos Area website and social media. Registering for this event indicates your consent for your child to be photographed.
