Courtesy of FedEx, NIRI-Chicago will host a tour of the vast FedEx facility at O'Hare. You will see first-hand the cutting-edge technology and logistics that the company employs to exceed customer expectations and drive shareholder value.

Directions from O’Hare airport:

Go South on Mannheim to Rte 19 Irving Park

West on Irving past US Post office to Access Road

Right turn on Access Road, through tunnel to next stop sign

The FedEx facility is on the left.

Parking is available in the employee lot, enter via revolving door

Participant information

Participants will need to show a photo id before passing through security.

Attire is casual. It is recommended that women wear slacks instead of skirts or dresses.

No open toe shoes or heels – sneakers are fine.

Participants should expect to walk approximately two miles during the tour. There are several areas where participants will be asked to climb metal-grated steps and cross catwalks over moving belts.
