Beginner Arduino Class & Lab Walkthrough: Part 2

February 20, 2016 - 1:00-4:00 pm

Participants in this series of three classes will leave with an Arduino Uno starter kit, knowledge of basic electronic principles & components, and a simple, working circuit of their own design.

In this second class, you'll learn:

  • Brief recap of last class
  • Students build a circuit that uses combinations of components
  • Students present personal circuit ideas and offer feedback

Prerequisites:

This is a beginner class, but participants should have some interest in electronics, engineering, or computers. No soldering will be required or taught. Basic computer skills are essential.

Instructor bio:

My name is Mike Thomas and I’m an Electrical Engineer. I received my Bachelor’s degree from RIT in 2012 and am currently working as a hardware design engineer for Bosch Security Systems.
